Your AUD deposit is safe. It is not sent back to your bank, and you do not need to do anything.
Bitaroo applies a limit to how much AUD you can deposit in any 24 hours. If a deposit would take you past that limit, we hold it rather than returning it.
What you will see
On the web platform, the deposit shows as Pending under Account → Deposit. In the Bitaroo Express app it shows with a clock icon under Deposit. The same page shows your current AUD deposit limit.
We also email you when the deposit arrives to let you know it was over your limit, and again once it has been credited.
When it is credited
A held deposit is released automatically once it can be, usually within a day. A deposit well above your limit can take longer.
If you would prefer the deposit returned to your bank account instead, contact our support team.

Bitcoin deposits
These limits apply to AUD deposits only. There is no limit on depositing bitcoin into your Bitaroo account.
