Bitaroo offers 3 account types:

Individual
All users must be Australian and 16 years or older.
Follow the steps in the sign up process and you should be verified within minutes.

Corporate
Business accounts are accepted on a case to case basis. Generally, simple ownership structures should be fine. If your business has a complex ownership structure, please contact us first.
If your business has only individual Australian shareholders, then please do the following:
- Get all beneficial owners (shareholders owning 25% and over) to open and verify (KYC) their Individual Bitaroo Accounts.
- From one of the verified beneficial owners' individual account, upload the following document via 'Account --> General':
- A Current Company Extract issued by ASIC (example)
- Open a new Support Ticket using the email address associated with your already verified individual account and provide us with:
- Email addresses associated with shareholders' Individual Bitaroo Accounts
- A different email address to be later used for the Bitaroo Corporate Account (please do not open a Bitaroo Account with this email address, we will do this for you)
Upon receiving your ticket, an automated response will be sent. A human response will follow within 24 hours.

SMSF or Trust
To setup your Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) or Trust Bitaroo Account, please do the following:
- Get all beneficiaries to open and verify (KYC) their Individual Bitaroo accounts.
- On your already verified individual account, upload the following documents via
'Account --> General': - Copy of the entire Trust Deed (signed) - PDF format
- If Corporate Trustee, a 'Current Company Extract' document issued by ASIC (example) - PDF format
- Open a new Support Ticket using the email address associated with your already verified individual account and provide us with:
- Corporate Trustee name, ACN or ABN and registered address (if applicable)
- SMSF or Trust name, ACN or ABN and registered address
- Email addresses associated with beneficiaries' Individual Bitaroo Accounts
- A different email address to be later used for the Bitaroo SMSF/Trust Account (please do not open a Bitaroo Account with this email address, we will do this for you)
