AUD transactions can only be accepted from Australian bank accounts in your own legal name (not a third party). Joint accounts are permitted.
To initiate the transfer, please follow these steps
1. Navigate to ‘Account’ –> ‘Receive’ (or directly to ‘Receive’ if using the app).
2. Want to Auto Buy? Toggle to 'Auto Buy'. Otherwise, proceed to Step 3 below.
3. Choose your transfer method: 'PayID' (also known as OSKO and/or NPP) or 'Direct Credit' (also known as EFT or standard bank transfer)
4. Copy the provided account details, paste them into your bank’s payment screen, and send the payment.
Important
A. Exceeding your AUD Daily Receive Limit will delay processing of the transfer.
B. A reference number is not required, as each Bitaroo user is assigned a unique bank account number and PayID email address. Learn More
C. Other transfer methods are not supported. This includes RTGS payments and international money transfers. Use only PayID/NPP/OSKO or EFT.
Waiting times
PayID:
• Transfers are near-instant and credited to your Bitaroo account upon receipt.
Caveats:
1. Depending on your bank, first transfers may be held for up to 24 hours.
2. If the bank account name does not exactly match your Bitaroo account name, first transfers may be delayed for manual review. These will appear in ‘Account' –> 'Receive’ as ‘Processing’ during checks. Once approved, future transfers from the same account will be automatically processed.
Direct Deposit (EFT):
• Transfers typically arrive within 1 business day but may take up to 3 business days.
