To comply with AUSTRAC’s rules:
• The bank account holder name must match your Bitaroo account name.
• Joint bank accounts are permitted.
• If the remitter name does not fully match your Bitaroo account name, the transaction processing will be delayed until reviewed by a staff member, who will either process it manually or contact you for further information.
• If the bank account is not under your name, it will be considered a third-party transfer, which is prohibited under AML/CTF rules. In such cases, the funds will be returned to the originating account, and a ‘3rd Party Transfer Return Fee’ will apply.
• Fintech accounts are not permitted.
