In order to support the Bitcoin network and its community, Bitaroo is operating the following Love Projects:
Blockchain Explorer
It is considered best practice to use your own version to view the blockchain and the mempool. The second best option is to use a trusted explorer, such as Bitaroo's.
Available on https://mempool.bitaroo.net/
Full Node
It is considered best practice to use your own node (Parman explains why here). The second best option is to use a trusted node, such as Bitaroo's.
Our node does not log your IP, transactions or Bitcoin addresses. It only logs errors.
Please note that these are not the default settings so if you are using a random node, all the above could be logged (and probably is if the node is owned, without you knowing of course, by a chain surveillance company).
Our public node is available for use on node.bitaroo.net.
Electrum Server
Our Electrum Server operates on the full node detailed above.
It is available for public use on electrum.bitaroo.net, port: 50002
CPFP Calculator
An easy to use Child Pays for Parent (CPFP) calculator to enable recipients to get unconfirmed transactions confirmed quicker.
Developed by DJ Booth for Bitaroo, open sourced to the world.
It is available for public use on https://cpfp.bitaroo.net/
