On the 10th day of every month, our system automatically transfers available bitcoin (BTC) to the Bitaroo Vault for dormant accounts holding 0.1 BTC or more.
Dormant accounts are accounts that have not performed any of the following actions since the 1st of the previous month: depositing, withdrawing, buying, paying a BPAY bill, or selling.
Users eligible for the Auto Vault Lock receive advance notification on the 2nd, a reminder on the 8th, and a confirmation on the 10th once the lock has been completed.
Users can prevent the automatic Vault Lock of their BTC holdings to the Bitaroo Vault by performing any of these actions: deposit, withdraw, buy, sell, pay, or spend. The specific amount does not matter; the key is to perform one of these actions.
